If you have listened to Tony talk about buying a grill, you know about his analysis paralysis. There are so many options out there, and Tony just can’t decide what kind of grill he wants. Well, we have some of the most devoted and thoughtful listeners in all of radio — and they want to help.
Here are a couple of suggestions from Eat! Drink! Smoke! Nation:
I’m not sure how familiar you are with the Blackstone grills. Take a look at this and see if you can’t convince Tony to look into these. They are awesome in my opinion at least.
We couldn’t agree more, Jeff. The Blackstones are pretty sweet. I’m sure they are on Tony’s list!
We got another great suggestion from a listener who posted this on our Facebook page:
Here is my setup: Camp Chef pellet smoker with a searbox on the side. I’ve cooked just about everything on it. Burgers, dogs, steak, pork chops, ham, Thanksgiving turkey, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, pizza, you name it. You can get an insulated cover, but I used some welding blankets and magnets and now I can cook year round.
Just like your cigar diary, you’ll need another smoker diary: what was the weather like, what meat are you cooking, what butcher did you get it from, pellet blend, smoke level, rub, so on.
You’re so right, Jeremy. The Camp Chef pellet smokers are legit. Their Woodwind can sear, griddle up some eggs and even make pizza!
We want to thank Jeff and Jeremy for sharing their thoughts on Tony’s next grill.
I’m sure it will be a while before Tony pulls the trigger. So, tell us what grill is in your backyard. Do you like it? Love it? We want to know!
Post it on our Facebook page!
